The little engine could use a part revamp. It would be nice to see this small ion engine have a revamp. Would be awesome to have a larger size of this one, and a large battery to accommodate that like the 2.
It would be better to see a larger ion engine for the 2. Or whatever size parts are for the MK1 Command Pod. Have you tried the Near Future Propulsion mod? A number of off-topic posts have been removed. This thread is not about mod updating or PC vs console player rivalries.
I would like it if the engine worked in non physical time warp, but i'm not sure how you would make that work. Not possible in stock though. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account.

Features Dependencies Installation Optional Patches External Compatibility Contributing Features A number of electric propulsion parts designed off real technology and prototypes.
They run on Xenon fuel. They run on Argon fuel and are pretty cheap! Magnetoplasmadynamic Thrusters: With the best TWR of all electric engines, these engines are very power-hungry. They run on Lithium fuel. Pulsed Inductive Thrusters: Similar to Hall thrusters, they run on Argon fuel and have the unique ability to dump extra electricity into the engine, increasing Isp but generating more heat. They can be tuned for high-thrust, low Isp operation, or low-thrust, high-Isp operation Electric RCS: Available in several flavours - a mini gridded thruster, mini Hall thruster, disposable PPT and set of small magnetoplasmadynamic thruster blocks New Tanks : More Xenon tanks and full tank sets for Argon and Lithium fuels Dependencies Required These components are required for the mod to function and are bundled as part of any download: ModuleManager 4.
Optional Patches Some extra patches are bundled that you can use to tweak your installation.
